The pieces are handcrafted from Indian rosewood that is stained and gently flamed to create a deep ebony - toned finish, then lightly coated with food-safe oil. The sets of salad servers have pretty hexagonal shaped handles with stainless heads and tangs and are finished with brass rivets.
